KEITH’S BIO

Keith is a southern CA native and has spent most of his adult yeas in the Costa Mesa/Newport Beach area of Orange County. As a result of his longevity in one place, Keith has come to enjoy knowing people over a long period of time which has provided him the opportunity to ‘walk with people’ through their significant and important life events.

Keith’s professional career began during his junior year at Vanguard University when he was asked to work as an intern at his local church. The idea of helping create a community where youth and young adults could foster caring relationships with one another; explore their passions and purpose in life; get outside of themselves to serve and care about other people; and become seekers of the universal truths of our human experience was more than Keith could have imagined. He loved it!

Keith’s internship at a local church led him to a full-time youth ministry position at a mega church in Irvine/Newport Beach after his graduation. He served for ten years in youth and young adult ministry, and then in 1997 Keith took a courageous step and - with a team of friends - planted a new church in Costa Mesa called ROCK harbor.

In many ways the church planting experience was successful but Keith had more learning to do in the areas of personal growth, health and wellness and character development. After four years, Keith left his role as founder of the church and entered a new season of health and wholeness that included working with doctors, therapists, other specialists and trusted friends to help him navigate the personal challenges he was ready to address.

After a number of years of learning, growing and embracing those challenges,  Keith began to work ‘beyond the walls of the church’ and focus his energies on people from all walks of life. In 2004 He created Rock Bottom Ministry to help meet the needs of individuals, couples and families who were experiencing barriers to their relational health and well-being. In 2007 he created Global Sticky Network to serve as a community to launch spiritual gatherings, local outreach projects and global partner programs in India and Zimbabwe.

Between 2009 and 2012 Keith experienced a number of types of deaths including his best friend (and  father) John Page, his marriage, and his mother Karen Page. Through those years, Keith discovered the importance of embracing death, enjoying life and opening up to the journey of grief.

As time went on, the doors opened for Keith to begin to walk with others who were experiencing death, loss and grief. He began leading celebration of life services, offering grief coaching and creating resources to support individuals and families who were walking the road of terminal illness diagnosis and impending death.

The insights and learnings Keith has received are incredible. Death and dying are now his teachers - reminding him to live each day to the fullest, to not take himself - or life - too seriously, to embrace a fuller range of all emotions, and finally, to show greater compassion and empathy for others who are in their own season of death, dying and grief.

Keith can’t wait for his next opportunity to walk with someone through a moment, a season, an important experience in their life.
